J.C. Newman's Machine-Made Cigars

These machine-made cigars begin with picadura, or chopped filler tobacco, in this case the scrap from handmade cigar production at Tabacalera A. Fuente y Cia. in the Dominican Republic. Bales of the tobacco are broken apart and prepared to go into the machines.
